A Firepit from Lithic Fire. Hand built in stone to last a lifetime. A large fire chamber with steel walls at least 5mm thick will age in the outside air but will not fall apart after a summer or two.
Our natural stone is tough enough to stand outside all year round. It has been tried and tested in the North of England for centuries so you can be assured of its suitability for the British climate. Summer or winter, our firepit will provide a memorable experience.
The characteristics of natural stone ensure that no two firepits will ever be the same. The natural variation in colour and texture will continue to provide pleasure to the eye and to the touch for years to come.
If you enjoy a small home project, you can build your firepit yourself with our clear instructions. We provide our firepits in kit form with full instructions for self assembly, sent on a pallet to any UK address. Otherwise, we can provide an installation service.
Our firepits can be made to any size but we have two ‘standard’ sizes: 800mm diameter; and a larger 1.2m diameter. The package includes steel liner, all natural sandstone and a stainless steel BBQ grill to match the size of firepit. We also supply a flat steel ‘snuffer’ plate finished with heat resistant paint, to place over the firepit at the end of the day for your peace of mind, should children or animals be around in the garden.
Prices start at £295 (including carriage and VAT) for an Elements Kit and with stone start at £545 and up to £2000 for the top of the range kit including high quality precision cut stone, depending on size and design. We are happy to quote for bespoke designs and have built or supplied unique firepits to customer specification.
Please contact us for a copy of our latest brochure or to ask any questions.
Delivery is on a standard pallet and costs £80 to most UK addresses, please contact us for full details. Installation by Lithic is generally limited to southern Scotland and northern England as travel and accommodation costs can be prohibitive. Please feel free to contact us about installation costs.
Like any firepit of this type, it should not be constructed directly on a wooden or other flammable surface such as decking. Please contact us for advice.
‘Thanks again, and we will recommend you to all our friends and family’ Liz, Hartlepool.
